The Botanic Garden is open for those who are able to visit safely. To visit the Garden you must book your time slot in advance (exceptions below).
Please be aware that the Glasshouses and the Herbarium Room will remain closed during the pandemic.

 

Are you a Friend, Annual Pass holder, University of Oxford or Oxford Brookes University student or staff member, registered disabled or a carer?

You will not need to book a time slot for your visit. We have allocated a number of tickets per 30 minute entry slot for you, but please ensure you bring your valid membership card (or email confirmation), student or staff ID with you. Admissions charges

Adult: £5.45

Adult + Gift Aid: £6.00

Children under 16: Free*

*must be accompanied by a paying family member

You could also consider becoming a Friend of the Oxford Botanic Garden and Arboretum and enjoy free or reduced entry to 13 botanic gardens across the country from £36 a year. 

Friends of the Oxford Botanic Garden and Arboretum, Edinburgh, Chelsea Physic, Bristol, Wales, Ness and Birmingham Botanic Gardens may enter for free with their membership card. 

Concessions include senior citizens (over 65), University of Oxford Alumni, non-Oxford students. Proof of concessionary status is required at the point of purchase.

Access and facilities

You must only visit if you can walk, cycle or drive here safely, and please follow Government guidance around meeting outdoors.

Visitors are very welcome to bring picnics with them; there are plenty of benches. Please be aware that our shop and toilet facilities will remain closed during the pandemic.

Wheelchair accessibility

The Botanic Garden is fully wheelchair accessible. We have a wheelchair available for public use: please note this must be booked in advance at our Ticket Office (telephone 01865 610 300).

Dogs are not permitted at the Botanic Garden, with the exception of registered assistance dogs (these may be required to wear an identification coat or marker on their lead or harness).
