While parking in Oxford city centre is limited, the Garden's central location offers a number of suitable alternatives:
Walking:
The Garden is located close to the centre of town, just a 10-minute walk from Carfax Tower. From Oxford train station it is around a 25-minute walk through the city centre.
Cycling and e-scooters:
The city centre's flat typography and compact layout make cycling a popular mode of transport. The Magdalen College car park offers cycle racks immediately outside the Garden. There is also a e-scooter pick up / drop-off point on the High Street, with steps leading down to the Botanic Garden entrance.
Bus or Park & Ride:
Park & Ride services help reduce local traffic congestion at busy times. There are plenty of buses serving St Clements and the High Street (Queens Lane). For more information visit the Oxford Bus Company website (https://www.oxfordbus.co.uk)
Travelling from London on the Oxford Tube:
If you are visiting from London, the Oxford Tube offers a 24/7 service, with coaches leaving up to every 12 minutes*. Find out more on their website (https://www.oxfordtube.com/plan-a-journey)
