What Happens Next? is a collaborative art installation that invites you to pause, read, reflect, and write. Step into the story so far, then add your voice to imagine the future. In a world that needs new ideas and shared visions more than ever, your imagination matters.
This interactive experience is a quiet call to action. By taking part, you'll explore four essential qualities we all need to grow in uncertain times:
🌱 Curiosity – to discover what’s already been written
🌿 Creativity – to build on it and take the story somewhere new
🌼 Bravery – to share your thoughts with strangers
🌳 Trust – in others to carry the story forward
Find the storytelling desk hidden underneath the Gingko tree next to the medicinal beds. Sit for a moment—or a while. Read what others have left. Then, when you're ready, write a little or a lot. Every voice matters. Especially yours.
This is a FREE with entry, drop in activity included with your entry to the Oxford Botanic Garden. The art installation is in place from 7th – 14th June as part of the Right Here Right Now Climate Action Summit and as part of the Great Big Green Week 2025.
