Imaginary Landscapes

Chris Tutton, poet

Anne Denholm, harp

A special event featuring words and improvised music with critically acclaimed and award-winning author of seven collections of poetry, Chris Tutton, and harpist Anne Denholm, Associate of the Royal Academy of Music, who served as Official Harpist to HRH The Prince of Wales from 2015-2019. The event will take place in the Conservatory at Oxford Botanic Garden. This historic glasshouse is located near the river and picturesque Magdalen Bridge. With beautiful seasonal displays and delicious scents, it provides a fabulous backdrop to our most intimate events.

Commemorating the 500th anniversary of the first ship that circumnavigated the world, Oxford Festival of the Arts 2022 will be a celebration of the world in a multitude of ways. The festival is proud to be collaborating with the Oxford Botanic Garden – the oldest botanic garden in the UK and one of the oldest in the world, for their 400th anniversary celebrations. The Oxford Festival of the Arts has been delighting audiences for well over a decade now, and is established both as a major source of entertainment and community engagement in Oxford.
