This year’s Autumn Fair on Saturday 19 October celebrates the work of the Arboretum. Join us to find out about woodland management with live demonstrations from our arborist team, follow trails to discover the rare and endangered trees in our collection from around the world and join in with hands-on crafts hosted by our partners and education team.
As always, you will be able to enjoy local food and drink including the Friends of Oxford Botanic Garden and Arboretum’s famous cake stall. Visit our specially selected local traders or stop by the Arboretum shop and choose from our sustainably-sourced gifts. Our bee-keeper, Mo Leen, will talk about the importance of the hives which supply Harcourt Honey and there will be a birds of prey display in the meadow.
Make a tree library with artist Helen Edwards - create your own tree print and contribute to a visual library of the trees at the Arboretum. Hurdle Making with The Brambly Hedgepig - drop in and discover how some of the trees in the Arboretum can be used to make all sorts of useful items.
