An exciting opportunity to explore the Arboretum at night! Venture into the woods at dusk and find out more about bat ecology and conservation. Detect and listen to their echo-location through a handheld bat detector and watch them as they whizz around searching for food. Wrap up warm and bring your torch to look at these elusive creatures through the eyes of a bat expert. This event is intended for adults and children of 7 years and above. We'll be moving around the site in the dark so would recommend a head torch, warm clothes and appropriate footwear.
