The Friends of Oxford Botanic Garden and Arboretum invite you to a party at the Oxford Botanic Garden

on Wednesday 20th July 2022, from 6-8 pm

A celebration of the 400th Anniversary of this beautiful garden in aid of the Appeal for Better Access Paths at the Arboretum

There will be drinks and canapes, live music from the Jez Cooke Trio, and a story telling event by Ashley Ramsden “ The Man who Planted Hope,” Jean Giono’s much loved parable of our time.

This is an opportunity to meet friends and look around the Garden on a beautiful summer’s evening when it is closed to the public.

The event is part of the campaign to raise money for the Friends’ 400th Anniversary Appeal, Better Access for All.

Our aim is to raise a further £325,000 to reach the target of £750,000 for this important appeal to improve access to the Arboretum for everyone by replacing existing paths and creating new ones. This will ensure that the important collections at the Arboretum will be renewed and all can benefit from the well-being that results from our contact with nature.

Tickets for this event are £50 each, and can be booked below.

Please also consider making an additional donation to the Paths Appeal, using the box below, or here.

With grateful thanks to our sponsors, Lightfoots Solicitors.
