During this practical workshop led by Ben Jones, Curator of the Arboretum, you will examine twigs, bark, growth habits and form as aids to identifying native tree species.

Event description

You will get hands-on experience and, by the end of the session, you’ll be equipped with the knowledge and skills required to recognise key species. This course will take place outdoors, so please wear suitable, warm clothing. You would be welcome to bring a hot drink and packed lunch for after the course has finished.
