On this course, we will help you make sense of scientific names and identify common plant families. Making use of the glasshouse collections, you will learn about groups of land plants and how they are adapted to different environments. You will also see plants in a hardy setting, appreciating their habits and preferred growing environments, and learn about their horticultural uses. Ideal for those studying a level 2 qualification or looking to pursue a career in horticulture, or just eager to improve their plant knowledge.
