Event description
This event is free for members of FSO (Fungus Survey of Oxfordshire), members of the Ashmolean Natural History Society of Oxfordshire (ANHSO) or with an Arboretum entry ticket. As part of the event you can enjoy:
- 13:15 Fungus Talk by Caroline Jackson-Houlston
- 14:00 - 16:00 Art activities for families. Join artist Caroline Jackson-Houlston and have a go at drawing a fabulous fungal fruiting body!
Please note that this is not a foraging event; we will not be collecting fungi to take away and ask visitors to leave them for others to enjoy. UK Fungus Day is an annual celebration run by the British Mycological Society.
