Event Description
This is a unique opportunity to learn how to create a sustainable and harmonious garden ecosystem by learning from and working with nature. Drawing inspiration from the Botanic Garden, you will find out how to choose plants that thrive in your environment, for example by using a variety of native plants adapted to local conditions. Tom will introduce ideas on how to focus on organic practices that promote soil health and biodiversity. This can include composting, mulching, and using natural pest control methods. Other sustainable practices include water-saving techniques and habitat creation for local wildlife, helping you create a thriving garden that benefits both you and the environment.
