Trinity College Garden Tour

Kettell Hall, Trinity College

Trinity, like many colleges, boasts historic, listed gardens, on a site dating back to 13th century. Building work has meant several years of gardens restoration, with a new 120 metre border by garden designer Chris Beardshaw and other new areas by Head Gardener Kate Burtonwood. The park-like front quadrangle has mature specimen trees inc Catalpa and Cedrus and is being enhanced with under-storey plantings. Formal courtyards house seasonal pot displays and new planting areas focus on elongating flowering seasons and adding biodiversity in a traditionally formal setting.

Friends are invited to attend this tour which will explore the private walled gardens, the President's Garden and Fellows' Garden. The tour will be followed by refreshments.
