Spring Fair at Harcourt Arboretum

What can I enjoy?

The Event Space (10am - 4pm)
  • Meet our farmyard friends with Farms2Ewe.
  • Birds of Prey - meet the birds all day & watch the flying display at 2pm.
  • Botanical printmaking and flower hammering with local nature artist Molly Palmrock.
  • Learn to write a Haiku with local Oxford poet Jane Thomas.
  • Traditional woodwork skills with Oxon Woodturners.
  • Natural crafts, sensory activities and messy play with the OBGA Primary Education team, aimed at all ages.
  • Join the OBGA Propagation team to discover the journey from seed collection to seedling at the Arboretum. They will also be leading tours of our new propagation facility.

Music and Talking Tent
  • Music: Join Damian Clarke to discover his collection of endangered folk instruments (All Day). 
  • Talk: Harcourt Honey with our resident beekeeper, Mo. (12.00 - 1.00pm)​​​​​​. 
Meet at the Shepherd's Hut
  • 11am and 1pm - WhatNot Theatre Co: A whimsical walking tour for all the family amongst the stunning flora & fauna of Harcourt Arboretum (max. 30)
  • Throughout the day - Meet the OBGA arborists.

  • Accessibility: Paths around the site are uneven and may be muddy. Dogs are not permitted at the Arboretum, with the exception of assistance dogs.
