With just an axe, chopping block, knife, and hook knife, we will shape a functional and beautiful wooden spoon from easily obtainable branch wood, freshly cut and full of sap. Using heritage skills of green woodworking, we will shape our branch wood with an axe before refining our design with a craft knife and shaping the bowl with a hook knife. With talk on tool sharpening and spoon finishing, you will be immersed in the world of working green wood with sharp hand tools, and this may lead to a life-time of craft exploration.
All tools and materials are provided. This event is suitable for those aged 18 and over.
