By kind permission of Mr and Mrs J D Sword.
Having lived at Chivel Farm for nearly 40 years, the owners’ challenge has been to keep their garden refreshed. They have created a beautiful country garden with extensive views, designed for continuously evolving interest. It is a late garden, so many roses will still be flowering. The garden also features a wide range of clematis, phlox, agapanthus, hardy and shrubby salvias, as well as many unusual perennials in colour-schemed borders. Although a dry garden, an irrigation system allows the growing of hydrangeas, particularly serrata varieties, which will be in flower. Refreshments included.
Friends £15, guests £20. Maximum number of visitors 40.
