400th anniversary private visit to honour the 1st Earl of Danby, founder of the Oxford Botanic Garden

Henry Danvers, 1st Earl of Danby, established a physic garden in Oxford in 1621. During this 400th anniversary year we honour the Earl’s memory by visiting his tomb in the Church of St James the Great, Dauntsey. There will be a welcome talk, some music, the grounds of Dauntsey Park House to explore and refreshments. A memorable occasion during this special year.
